Kirstie Thwaites, Dental Hygienist & Therapist, GDC No 106259

Since gaining her initial qualification from the University of Leeds in 2006, Kirstie has continued to invest in her knowledge and training, in 2013 she completed a two year post graduate programme in Enhanced Clinical Periodontology at Kings College Hospital London. In 2012 she was the recipient of the Young Dental Hygienist & Therapist of the Year award.

Kirstie has experience of working in both general practice, specialist practice and hospital based settings. She currently divides her working week between private practice including specialist led consultant clinics and teaching.
She is the Programme Lead for the BSc Oral Health Science programme at the University of Essex where she lectures undergraduate dental hygienists and therapists.
